Amanda Semmler, MSW, LGSW
Clinical Trainee, Certified Crisis Specialist
With over six years of experience in the child welfare system, I bring a deep understanding of the challenges children, adolescents, and young adults face. My journey led me back to school to earn my Master’s in Social Work from Brescia University, where I completed my clinical internship with GroupWorks in December 2024. Upon graduating, I transitioned into a full-time clinical trainee role as I work toward my independent clinical license. Additionally, I serve on the mobile crisis team as a Certified Crisis Specialist.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Brescia University and a degree in Human Development and Family Science from NDSU. My passion lies in supporting children (ages 6+), adolescents, and young adults navigating mental health challenges. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, empowered, and actively involved in setting their own therapeutic goals. Using evidence-based interventions, I tailor my approach to meet each individual's unique needs.
As a local to Hubbard County, I cherish spending time outdoors with my family and helping on the farm. I look forward to working with you and supporting you on your journey to mental wellness.
