Deborah Farrell, MSW, LICSW, DBTC
Clinical Therapist
The lives that we lead are a crazy quilt of good and bad, wonderful and tragic, painful and joyous. My decision to become a mental health therapist came out of my appreciation of all that life holds and my desire to journey with others on their path toward growth and healing. I strive to help my clients, who include middle-years to adolescent children, adults and families, to find healthy perspectives and the changes that they seek. In the therapy process, I support my clients in knowing themselves better, and using that insight to find the skills, the strategies and the strength to do their therapeutic work in order to meet their goals.
No one approach, all alone, is going to fit everyone, so I utilize a range of approaches that include Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, and Psychodynamic approaches to the treatment of mental illness, its symptoms, and effects.
My educational background involves a Masters of Social Work from St. Catherine’s/St. Thomas Universities. I have been working in this field in Park Raids for more than 20 years, and look forward to meeting you and journeying with you toward your goals.
